I knew if I lost my job another one would open up like that magic door Aladdin found. If I got sick, I knew I would feel better in the morning, my feet wouldn’t hurt when I woke and my breakfast would be welcome in my tummy. I knew it. Now, not so much.
I don’t know where I’m gonna go, don’t know what I’m gonna do, and because I’m not certain of much of anything, I don’t really care more than a cursory glance at the options and consequences.
